French Louis XVI Mahogany & Walnut Marquetry Side Table From the Early 20th Century
A French marquetry table in the Louis XVI style. The table, richly inlaid and featuring a small drawer, is made of mahogany and walnut on the outside. It has fluted legs characteristic of the style and a tabletop adorned with floral and ribbon motifs. The interior is made of birch. When the top is opened, a small compartment for trinkets is revealed. A crack is visible on the mirror beneath the lid.
A slight unevenness on the tabletop is noticeable in sunlight.
