Italian 19th Century Fruitwood, Brass, Bone and Mother of Pearl Side Table

About the Item

A stunning and extremely decorative Italian 19th century ebonized Fruitwood, brass, bone, and mother of pearl side table. The table is raised by fine casters below the beautifully scrolled legs with an exceptional array of inlaid mother of pearl and bone with exquisite foliate designs, brass inlaid fillets, and lovely portrait reserves at each side below elegant supports with additional foliate designs centered by charming musical instruments. The supports are connected by a straight stretcher with a fine mottled design and additional scrolled decorative designs and beautiful birds. Above each support are elegant block reserves with superb mother of pearl medallions of lovely urns flanking the straight frieze decorated with additional wonderfully executed inlaid designs. The top displays a breathtaking array of spectacular mother of pearl, bone, and brass inlaid designs of masterfully executed flowers, birds, musical instruments, knight helmets, spears, seashells, portrait reserves, and stunning scrolled foliate movements throughout.
