About the Item

A stunning pair of rare side cabinets No. 1151 or dry bars designed and produced by Harvey Probber. U.S.A., circa 1950's. Functional and well designed. Decagonal shaped cabinets executed in mahogany wood. Each has a single drawer on top and a hinged door below that opens for storage. Door and drawer are accessed via trapezoidal wood pulls for a sleek, modern look. Mounted on a round plinth base. Spacious top is ideal for displaying your favorite decor. These can serve as end tables, nightstands or other creative use. The cabinets provide plenty of storage space including two shelves integrated into the doors perfect for storing beverage glasses, bottles, and corkscrews. Fully restored, each piece is newly refinished in dark walnut and in excellent condition. Literature: Harvey Probber, manufacturer's catalog, unpaginated.
