Francky Criquet nasce, in Francia, nel dipartimento della Sartre, il 18 settembre 1968 da
una famiglia che si occupava della raccolta e della rivendita di metalli e altri oggetti di vario genere.
His childhood is thus marked by contact with a great many used objects, sometimes even art objects, which will contribute to forming in him an important store of different images, stories and materials.
From an early age he shows a great aptitude for drawing, sculpture and art in general; as well as a great curiosity and desire to learn, which will allow him to build an extensive culture , especially focused on history, mythology and religion, which, combined with early experiences artistic and to his difficult family situation, will accompany and guide him on his creative path.
Francky è un pittore onirico e "visionary," the often cultured and profound themes that inspire his works are treated in a strongly gestural manner: the powerful and imperious mythological figures contained in his paintings are always contaminated by musical rhythms, garish and contrasting colors that he realizes and approaches by manifesting uncommon gifts of "taste."

It is jet painting, strong and fluid at the same time; overwhelming and refined, violent and exciting, cultured and instinctive.

* TECNICA: La vernice e' una miscela di pigmenti in polvere e pigmenti liquidi con un legante acrilico, talvolta accresciuto con pastello a olio.
Per il fissaggio di certain colors Francky Criquet uses natural paper glue mixed with ultra-fine limestone powders (for opacity of whites) and "charcoal" for lines and architecture.
