Charming and characterful 19th Century British sailor’s woolwork art picture and frame. Depicting the British Royal Coat of Arms. Raised silkwork lion and unicorn supporters, flanking embroidered coat of arms outlined with beads and contained within a quality ebonised frame. 'Dieu et mon droit' is embroidered on a scroll beneath the shield, which means 'God and my right' and is the motto of the monarch of the United Kingdom.
