Pair of 18th Century Carved Oak Frieze Panels

About the Item

A pair of 18th century hand carved oak frieze panels depicting hippocampi. The patinated panels depict each hippocampus carved in relief, showcasing their horse heads with flowing manes and swirling tails as a bird sits to their backs. Place either side of a doorway to create a dramatic entrance or style together on an empty interior wall to add unique style to an interior.
