Charming drawing of the XIXth century, representing a character of the famous tale of Charles Perrault: " Le petit Poucet ". It shows the young boy in country dress, wearing a hat topped with a peacock feather, a sickle at his belt. His pocket is full of small white stones that is sown.
This work is dated 1891 and signed G. Herlley. Beautiful romantic representation of a character.
