Attributed to William Huggins (1820-1884) Head of a Tiger. Bears signature 'W. Huggins' and dated 1875, on the (lower right). Watercolour on paper laid down on board irregularly cut, 8 1/4"-inches x 8"-inches, (21 x 20.3 cm.) Hand rulled and titled oval mount, 8"-inches x 7 3/4"-inches (20.3 x 19.7 cm.) In ebonized frame, 17 1/8"-inches x 15 3/4"-inches (43.5 x 40 cm.) No glazing.
