A Contemporary Acrylic on Canvas by Mani-Kure
Located in Aci Castello, IT
The acrylic on canvas by Mani-Kure is a vibrant and abstract portrayal of a face. The artwork is dominated by bold geometric shapes and primary colors, giving it a Cubist-inspired feel. The face is divided into sections with sharp lines, where different parts of the face are depicted in contrasting colors. The left half of the face is primarily yellow, with an orange ear and a red eye, outlined with black lines. This side has a mix of straight and curved lines. The right half of the face is mostly blue, with a pink eye that contrasts with the surrounding blue. The ear on this side is also orange. The artist uses strong black lines to define the facial features, such as the nose, lips, and eyes. The nose is depicted in a triangular, almost pyramid-like shape, with alternating colors of gray and orange. ManiI-Kure artists crossed their path artistically by developing an art language which brings together stencil art and free hand painting. One is more focused on the stencil world both on the street and on canvases, while the other has a more free hand approach on canvas, painting with spray paint, acrylics and paint sticks, while at the same time keeping alive his street art spirit through posters pasting and also free hand pieces. Each of Mani-Kure's paintings are an original one-off piece of work, and have been purchased by respected art collectors all over Europe, USA and the rest of the World. They have exhibited internationally (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Australia, California etc.) and have received reviews in different magazines (VICE, No Cure Magazine, Don't Panic, Time Out, etc.) alongside other internationally renowned artists . Due to their passion for skateboarding, surfing and street ware they have collaborated visually with many brands like Nike SB...
