Measurements below are overall, work measures 24.25" by 15". BIOGRAPHY: Lucien Laurent-Gsell, (Paris, 1860 - 1944), French painter and illustrator. He entered the E?cole des Beaux-Arts where he studied under Caspar Gsell (his father) and Alexandre Cabanel.
