A PAIR OF PORTRAITS OF THOMAS NETHERTON PARKER (1772-1848) AND HIS WIFE SARAH PARKER (1779-1854)
Oil on canvas, in their fine original neoclassical giltwood frames. Painted in 1796, the year of the sitter’s marriage.
Each with a label on the back:
1796 “Pd. Mr Shee half his charges for two half length portraits £31-10-0”
