He specialized in photographing opera singers. Mishkin was born in Minsk, Russian Empire in March 1870. He migrated to the United States in 1885. He bought a camera and started taking photographs in the 1880s. He married and had a son, Leo Mishkin. He died on February 6, 1948. Feodor Ivanovich Chaliapin was a Russian opera singer. Possessing a deep and expressive bass voice, he enjoyed an important international career at major opera houses and is often credited with establishing the tradition of naturalistic acting in his chosen art form. Boris Godunov is an opera by Modest Mussorgsky (1839–1881). The work was composed between 1868 and 1873 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is Mussorgsky's only completed opera and is considered his masterpiece. Boris Feodorovich Godunov was the de facto regent of Russia from 1585 to 1598 and then tsar from 1598 to 1605 following the death of Feodor I, the last of the Rurik dynasty. After the end of Feodor's reign, Russia descended into the Time of Troubles. Photo-9.75" x 7.88". Matt 10.88" x 8.75".
