About the Item

This pair of Anatomical pictures are part of a series called the Naturalien and Lehrmittel Anatomies and Biologie, by Tanck & Wegelin and considered to be the most accurate anatomical charts of their time. This pair of muscular structure charts were produced for the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden and are stamped with the museums logo in the left hand corner. Plates from this series were printed on paper and then glued to linen, giving a durability for rolling and unrolling in the classroom. Fortunately this pair have been framed and the natural patina of use over many years has been preserved to add to their beauty, circa 1950. This superb large posters comes with a timeless made to measure custom black frame. CONDITION In Great condition - Wear as expected with age. SIZE Height: 144cm Width: 95cm.
