Stunning 18th century colored botanical study print after Joseph Pitton de Tournefort (French 1656-1708) of Fucus algae seaweed sourced from "Elements de Botanique", printed in 1797. Features a thick handmade paper with a distressed and aged patina produced by Natural Curiosities in Los Angeles, CA. Set in an ebonized wood frame with hand-colored detail.
