18th Century French Gilded Frame with Revolutionary Lithograph
About the Item
"Les Francais En Garrison" is an original hand colored lithograph. The notation on the print indicates that the copper plate was etched by Charon and reproduces the work of the artist Aubry.
The 18th C gilded frame is hand carved. The frame has a flat panel with bead detail. The French hand painted mat is original, with some water stain at left lower corner.
