This lithograph is signed by Henri Rivière in the lower left corner.
The artwork is authentic and dates from the original period.
In the margins, there are small edge tears (ranging from 0.3 cm to 4 cm), fold marks, small stains, and minor losses (0.4 cm in the bottom corners).
On the lithograph itself, there are small white spots indicating areas with missing ink.
Despite these flaws, the lithograph retains very fresh colors. Once framed, most imperfections will be barely noticeable.

About the Artist:
Henri Rivière (1864–1951) was a French painter, printmaker, and illustrator. He began his career in drawing and then moved on to intaglio printmaking, especially etching, starting in 1882. In 1886, he also became a stage director and set designer for the shadow theatre at the famous Cabaret du Chat Noir, where he innovated with the use of colored sets.
He later devoted himself fully to painting and printmaking, becoming a major figure in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography, and watercolor—creating around a thousand watercolors in his lifetime.
