Lithography by Henri Rivière Les Aspects de la Nature - Le Cap This lithograph “Les Aspects de la Nature - Le Cap” is signed Henri Rivière at the bottom left. The work is authentic and old. For the condition, note in the margin traces of folds, small tears (from 0.3 cm to 1 cm), ink lines and small stains. On the lithograph, we report small white dots (lack of ink) and small stains. The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible. Sold as presented.Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcut, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
