About the Item

Beautiful pair of woven silk paintings dating from the end of the 19th century in good condition and well framed representing characters in a bucolic and romantic atmosphere. Gold lacquered frame. Some gaps on the frames but good general condition. Has been made in St etienne a city close to Lyon in France.
