The Greek god of wine Dionysos or Bacchus as he was known in Rome, probably is much better known than his female counterpart. Many gods were integrated in all kinds of classical antiques and Bacchus certainly is one of the most famous. This striking mask corner bracket however depicts a much lesser known god(dess). The upside of that is that this work-of-art-corner-bracket actually and factually is extremely rare. And anyone who collects antiques (or decorative items) having to do with wine and its cultural and historical importance will also want to have a sculpture / image of Amphictyonis.
