About the Item

A fantastic Victorian (ca1880s) era snake stickpin! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this bold pin depicts a twisted snake with a .05ct old mine cut diamond held within the serpent's mouth. The body of the snake is adorned with intricate etchings, which further add to the unique appeal of the piece. A fantastic example of Victorian-era craftsmanship, this piece would be perfect for any snake or antique jewelry lover! Measurements: The entire stickpin measures 2 3/8" long, and the snake measures about 1/2" wide, and is slightly more than 1/2" thick.  Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or to the snake, which remains in excellent condition. The pin stem and diamond are both secure and intact.
