For more than fifty years, this multi-talented artist has mainly dedicated the expression of his art to the beauty of women.
Acclaimed in 1955 for his black and white geometries created for Christian Dior or Nina Ricci, he is presented as a Dali avant-garde.
In 1966, he translated the Optical Art movement into jewelry. The theme of the square in hammered silver metal encrusted with another square of enamel represents one of the signatures of his style. The “Charme” translucent enamel oval bead necklace, created for Christian Dior, the “Capucine”, “Vénus”, “Marguerite” and “Violetta” models, and the dog collars with tassels, are among its emblematic models.

The jeweler and designer, famous French parurier ROGER Jean Pierre has been designing for Schiaparelli jewelry since he was 20 years old. He has also worked for Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain and Madame Gres, among others. He created some of the most extraordinary jewelry for Balenciaga and forged a very close relationship with Christian Dior, creating many important pieces for the House. In 1930-1960, his name was known throughout France.
From 1947 to 1958, he ran the large jewelery company Maison Francis Winter. Winter designs around 2,500 jewels a year for the biggest French fashion houses.
In 1960, Roger Jean Pierre opened his own studio in Paris. He was inspired by the decorations of the 18th century. Costume jewelry by this master was never marked, usually only paper tags were worn on the jewelry.
After 13 years, Jean Pierre decides to broaden his field of activity and opens a workshop. And in 1962, Jean-Pierre made a tiara for Yves Saint Laurent, which was featured on the October cover of Vogue. But already in 1979, for unknown reasons, he was forced to close his business.

Handcrafted by Berber and Nomadic Women from the High Atlas of Morocco.

Made of Moroccan silver ( not sterling) and adorned with enamel and beads and ancient coins.
Moroccan Berber Tribal Tassel Fibula Pin with Coins and beads. The French jeweler and designer, famous parurier Roger Jean Pierre has been designing for Schiaparelli jewelry since he was 20 years old. He has also worked for Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain and Madame Gres, among others. He created some of the most extraordinary jewelry for Balenciaga and forged a very close relationship with Christian Dior, creating many important pieces for the House. In 1930-1960, his name was known throughout France.
From 1947 to 1958, he ran the large jewelery company Maison Francis Winter. Winter designs around 2,500 jewels a year for the biggest French fashion houses.
In 1960, Roger Jean Pierre opened his own studio in Paris. He was inspired by the decorations of the 18th century. Costume jewelry by this master was never marked, usually only paper tags were worn on the jewelry.
After 13 years, Jean Pierre decides to broaden his field of activity and opens a workshop. And in 1962, Jean-Pierre made a tiara for Yves Saint Laurent, which was featured on the October cover of Vogue. But already in 1979, for unknown reasons, he was forced to close his business.
