A Victorian garnet and diamond pendant, the old brilliant-cut diamond set star to the centre of a round cabochon-cut garnet, within a frame of entwined gold surmounted from a twisted wire pendant loop, the pendant measuring approximately 3.8 x 2.7cm, suspended from a gold snake chain measuring approximately 43cm in length and 0.3cm in width, circa 1870, gross weight 39.6 grams.
