About the Item

An impressive Victorian 24.63 carat amethyst and 0.15 carat diamond, 15k gold pendant and 18 karat gold chain; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This fine and impressive oval cut amethyst pendant has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with an 18k yellow gold chain. The elongated pierced decorated linear setting is ornamented to the lower border with a feature 24.63Ct oval cut amethyst, claw set to a basket style setting. The linear drop has a flared, scrolling design. A single 15k white gold bezel set 0.15Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds ornaments the upper border of the design. The pendant suspends from an 18k yellow gold 19" trace chain via an integrated ring loop to the reverse of the diamond setting. The chain secures with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening. This antique Victorian pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k and 18k yellow gold. The pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Condition This impressive antique Victorian pendant is fine quality set with a stunning amethyst and a very high color graded diamond. The pendant is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
