About the Item

An Heirloom of Emperors: The Custom-made 14k Gold Serpent & Ancient Constantinus II Roman Coin Pendant From "Imperium Coins" Collection, Circa 321-324AD Step back in time and wear a piece of the Roman Empire. This exceptional, custom-made pendant from our "Imperium Coins" collection unites the powerful symbolism of the serpent with a genuine, ancient Roman coin from the reign of Constantinus II (circa 321-324 A.D.), son of the great Constantine I. Coin: ROMAN EMPIRE. CONSTANTINUS II (Caesar 316-337AD)), FLAVIUS CLAUDIUS, the oldest sun of the Constantin the Great and Fausta. Bronze , 17 mm. struck ca. AD 321-324. Obverse: Constantinus II, draped bust right. Reverse: 2 Solders holding spears & shields with 2 standards between them. This bronze coin, with a wonderful striking, surfaces wonderful with a natural light black-green patination being an important historical type. Its beautifully preserved ancient patina, is a tangible link to a world of emperors and epic history. The coin is expertly cradled within a masterfully crafted solid 14k gold bezel, its dark, storied surface creating a dramatic and elegant contrast against the richness of gold. Coiled with lifelike grace, a meticulously hand-sculpted snake of solid 14k gold wraps around the coin. In ancient cultures, the serpent was a powerful symbol of transformation, eternity, and protection, making it the perfect guardian for this centuries-old relic. The detailed, textured scales catch the light, a testament to the artisan's skill and attention to detail. Pendant Details: Setting: Handmade 14K yellow gold frame Size: Approx. 1 1/8 inch long including the snake head.
