A Fabergé goldstone-glass, gold, and white enamel scent bottle, the vessel made of goldstone-like glass, with a slightly tapering rose-gold ridged base and rose gold hinged flared cap with a yellow gold laurel engraved band and opaque white enamel decorations with tooled gold band divisions, the lid with laurel and acanthus leave engraved decorations and a cabochon-cut moonstone finial, with original stopper with fluted decorations, bearing the mark for 56 zolotniks, St Petersburg, workmaster Henrik Wigstrom, St Petersburg, 1903-1908, measuring 6.7 x 4cm, gross weight 67.1 grams. Compare with lot 115 at Sotheby’s London auction, 5th June 2001. This antique scent bottle is in very good condition with small marks of wear at the galss consistent with its age. This important Fabergé scent bottle is part of the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the distinguished London jewellers by royal appointment to His Majesty the King. The exquisite scent bottle is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The vessel is made of goldstone-like glass, with a gently tapering rose-gold ridged base. The cap features delicate opaque white enamel decorations, elegantly divided by tooled gold bands. The lid is adorned with engraved laurel and acanthus leaf motifs, culminating in a small moonstone on top. Completing the ensemble is the original stopper, adorned with fluted decorations. Crafted in St. Petersburg by the renowned artisan Henrik Wigstrom, this piece is not only a testament to superior craftsmanship but also a timeless treasure to be added to any discerning Fabergé collection.

This antique opalesque glass scent bottle is fitted with a fine and impressive yellow gold cylindrical collar and domed hinged cover, which opens to reveal the original push fit glass stopper. The rim of the collar, cover and mounted foot are embellished with impressive leaf designs.
