Lepine Paris Very Rare Enameled Objet d'Art Watch
About the Item
Objet d'art watch in the shape of an egg. It has romantic scenes in enamel on cooper with a gilt brass fusee movement and round baluster pillars. This piece is from the house of Jean Antoine Lepine, and manufactured in the late 18th century. Signed Lepine, A Paris, and h'ger* du Roy.
The movement is not working, with the hour hand tip broken, and one small enamel repair.
*Short for horloger.
