Set of 4 Franklin Mint sterling silver Christmas Carol ornaments from 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1979, with boxes.
From the "Christmas Carol" collection started in 1971, each ornament features a medal at the center of a 7 point star on a red acrylic disc hanging from a chain. The medal and the star are coated in a fine transparent acrylic coating which prevents tarnishing. All 4 includes an original box.
The 1972 edition features the song The First Noel. The medal is sculptured with "The First Noel" and an angel on one side, "Born Is The King of Israel" and "1972" with the three wise men with an angel on the other side.
The 1973 edition features the song O Come All Ye Faithful. The medal is sculptured with "O Come All Ye Faithful" with the three wise men on one side, "Joyful and Triumphant" and "1973" in a wreath of angels on the other side. Includes COA.

Art glass vase sign: Daum Nancy France. Evidenced by this Daum sculptural colorless blown and hot-shaped lead-crystal heavy vessel vase, the finest irreproducible artistic works in the history of the French glass maker featured ornamental thick glass applications, while its most in-demand ArtDeco-period pieces were made between 1925 and 1935 with very few major pieces remaining in private hands and even less without damage. As a significant gift acquired from Don Jacques Daum in 1950, a similarly shaped, constructed and sized circa-1925 vase with "stylized foliage" motif is in the collection of the French Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris as Inventory #36309. A later-produced vase with a similar application-motif at the rim, but in a "Champagne" bubbled style, is in the published book about the Leo and Irina Esterkin acquisitions from 1910-1940 titled Daum Art Deco Glass--A Private Collection.
On our prime-condition antique vase, applied transparent glass is styled in high relief into a flowing undulating motif that evolved from Daum's Art Nouveau foliage designs. The angular and curvilinear shapes of this vessel epitomize the bold vases, bowls and sculptures for which Daum is best known. Its tiny pencil-etched signature on the side near the bottom reads "Daum (plus the Lorraine-cross symbol) Nancy France", which resembles some published signatures since 1925.

This charming set of 'The Four Seasons' dates to the late 1960s and was manufactured in Milan, Italy. The set which retain their original fitted box comprise of a small square plinth encased with slices of malachite atop of which sit a figure, each representing one of the four 'seasons'. The figures along with a gilt foot-rim are crafted from 800 purity silver (800 out of 1000 parts pure silver) and are parcel gilt in areas and purposefully oxidised in others. The figures to the underside are stamped for their metal purity, along with an Italian hallmark allowing us to know they were crafted in Italy by a maker called 'Luigi Cervone'. This particular mark for Cervone was only used from 1968 up until his retirement in 1970, allowing us to date the set to between 1968 and 1970. Alexandre Reza was born in 1922 in Moscow, of ancient Samarkand heritage. The son of a jeweler, he moved to France with his family when he was a child. He set out on his own at the age of eighteen, the same time as the onset of World War II.
