Substantial 18K Gold Diamond Eternity Band with Foliate Motif

Beautiful and substantial on the hand, this wide eternity band has lovely details as well as fine quality diamonds. Crafted of solid 18k yellow and white gold, the band features a striking offset wave design with decorative gold bands flowing around rows of fiery channel set diamonds (a total of 28 diamonds) set in white gold. Perfect as an unusual wedding band, it also makes a wonderful stacking band. The total estimated carat weight is approximately .42 carats, or so. (please note that any dark areas in my photos are just reflections) I love the heft and buttery gold of this ring, as well as the pretty details. The yellow gold band's design has a scrolling knot-like foliate style, that counters the sparkle and fire of the diamonds nicely. Each of the four sections of the ring are approximately 10 mm or a little over 3/8 of an inch wide. Since they are offset, almost like a braid or a wave, it gives the ring a total approximate width of 11 mm, or so. (approximately 7/16 of an inch) Each of the 28 modern round brilliant cut diamonds measures approximately 1.5 mm in diameter, with a total estimated carat weight of .42 carats. Bright and very sparkly and brilliant, I would judge their color to be in the G-H-I range of near-colorless. Completely eye-clean, they also have beautiful clarity under magnification with no damages. Their white gold channel enhances the color and fire of the diamonds & the settings are open backed to allow lots of light into each stone; the settings also remain in very good condition. A partial mark of “18K” remains inside this high quality ring, along with a makers mark of "Mdviani". On my scale, the ring has a wonderfully substantial weigh of 9.05 grams. Fitting as a size 6.25, I would not recommend sizing this ring up due to its eternity style. Some small sizing beads could be added inside, if you wanted to adjust it down a bit.
