Victorian Five-Stone Emerald Ring

About the Item

A Victorian five stone emerald ring, the five emerald-cut emeralds graduating from the centre and weighing 1.1 carats in total, claw set to an 18ct yellow gold mount with carved open shoulders, circa 1890, later hallmarked 18ct gold London, head measuring 0.6x1.4cm, finger size M, gross weight 4.9grams. This ring is in very good condition. A vibrant and ornate late Victorian ring. This ring features a row of five deep, verdant green emeralds set in a carved yellow gold mount. Five stone rings such as this were popular during the late Victorian era, and this ring is an excellent example of such a piece. The yellow gold beautifully complements the emeralds, and the carved mount adds Victorian charm to the ring. This piece is from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure. Should you choose to make this purchase we would be delighted to send it to you in a Bentley & Skinner handmade leather case packed in a gift-wrapped Bentley & Skinner black and gold presentation box. Shortly afterwards we will send you on a valuation for insurance purposes for your reference and safekeeping.
