About the Item
The equation of a complex layout for this ring conceived by the architect designer Michel Tortel for QITTERI. It puts in space the colours of an indicolite tourmaline and a spessartite garnet. Their colours respond to each other and mix depending on the angle of view, creating an incredible play of light that is projected onto the skin.
The 3.66 carat indigolite tourmaline has a VVS purity. Its emerald size is 14.8 x 6.85 x 3.75 mm. It comes from a deposit in Mozambique. The 1.72 carat spessartite garnet has a VS+ clarity, its perfect emerald cut is 8.2 x 6.15 x 4.57 mm.
This complex ring with its very thin superimposed trays required a long development and several innovations. It is entirely handmade.
Made with 9.42 gr of 18 carat white gold, the design of this ring has been conceived to allow the mixing of gem colours.
The design is inspired by contemporary architecture and art, and focuses on highlighting unique colour harmonies. Harmonies patiently built up by demanding adjustments tested at various times of the day.
A complex design, totally innovative, pure and archi¬tectural. A design all in transparencies with pure lines never seen before, allowing the stones to be seen from all sides as if suspended in space, thus revealing their play of colour and light in two and three dimensions.
This model, like each of its stones, is unique. It can be adjusted for sizes not far from 54 which is its current size.
This ring is intended for outings, parties and cocktail parties.
