Antique George Sharp Arabesque Pattern Coin Silver Ladle

About the Item

A fine antique antique American silver ladle. By George B Sharp of Philadelphia, PA. In coin silver. With a gilding to both the bowl and an embossed arabesque pattern to the handle. Simply a fine Sharp example! Date: Mid-19th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some rubbing to the gilding here and there and there are light scratches throughout, especially to the bowl. Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Engraved: Monogrammed with a 'W' to the handle Maker: George Sharp Pattern Name: Arabesque Marks: Marked to the reverse with George Sharp psuedo-hallmarks and a 'Patent' mark. Measurements: Length: ca. 8 in. Width: ca. 2 1/8 in. Height: ca. 2 1/8 in. Weight: ca. 50 grams Items purchased from this dealer must delight you.
