About the Item

Sterling silver with gold washed bowl claret ladle by Gorham in a Grapevine pattern. Monogram appears to be MJP This long ladle with a small bowl was used to scoop fruit out of a pitcher. It features a gold wash on the inside of the bowl with beautiful grape and leaf pattern on the handle. Monogram is on the back of the handle. The Gorham marks date this piece to the late 19th Century. Measures 13 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide bowl. Weighs approx 124.9g, 80.3dwt Marked lion, anchor, G STERLING AJF Very nice condition with some slight scratches and mild tarnish. Gold wash is slightly faded. Will be packaged securely and shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL081621/17KCSS
