Sterling Silver Salver/Tray by Searle & Co from 1964
This beautiful tray is in excellent condition. Round with crisp and molded curvilinear rim, also called a Georgian piecrust rim. It stands on three leaf-capped volute supports. It is in the style of a Georgian salver though was made in the sixties. This salver/waiter presents an elegant aesthetic charm to its design, allowing for numerous uses, this piece could be used on multiple occasions for display, or with other pieces of antique silverware and interior décor.
Hallmarked: Made by Searle & Co Ltd in Royal Exchange, Cornhill, London EC3 in 1964.
