About the Item
This beautifully illustrated book was written because at that time there was no monograph in either French or English devoted to this important Jeweller/Silversmith. As it says in the introduction - "We are particularly proud to be able to reproduce an important number of pieces, until this day unpublished". He was probably best known for his striking Art Deco designs which were created from such ideas as machine parts and other utilitarian materials he had seen during his time designing parts for aircraft. There are 204 pages with nearly one hundred devoted to silversmith pieces and the remaining pages to the jewellery. This book was published in a limited edition of only 500 copies, it is therefore extremely rare.Hardback. Text in French & English.
