A fine S. Kirk & Son coin silver footed bowl. In the shape of scallop shell with a tab handle that has repoussé and stippled decoration. Simply a great piece of early American coin silver! Date: 19th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There are light bends to the scalloped edges of the bowl (tips are bent down), some light over-polishing, a few spots of persistent tarnish here & there, some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Samuel Kirk & Son Pattern Name: 2660 Marks: Stamped under the handle S.
