Antique 19th Century Arabic Moroccan Islamic Calligraphy Arabic Door Window 1850

A good pair of antique Moroccan hardwood doors or window shutters, carved with Islamic calligraphy, circa 1850
The doors are housed in their original carved frame, and each door has four carved panels & Arabic calligraphy with the repeated phrase, translates as; " In the name of God, The most Merciful". The doors are fitted with the original iron hardware, the doors have a wooden stave to the rear which can be easily removed allowing the doors to function.
The doors are solid, they could easily be used as doors or window shutters, or could be simply displayed as an article of artwork. Condition is very good indeed, this antique 19th century carved Moroccan door...

Model shown is recently produced and is as shown 43" wide and 80" tall. This particular door is priced differently from all others we produce (see separate listings) due to the radial walnut being a special order item requiring considerable work, see other listings for all other models. The radial pattern is on both sides and is the most difficult door we have that we produce ad compliments the starburst bar pattern.
