Jean Picart Le Doux, born in Paris in 1902 and died in 1982, was a French painter and painter-cartonnier the revival of contemporary flat weave tapestry. He is the son of the painter Charles Picart Le Doux (1881-1959). His first tapestry dating from 1943 after winning the Grand Prix of the theater poster exhibition in the imaging. He met Jean Lurcat and, and Marc Saint-Saëns,and together they founded the Association of painters cardboard tapestry in 1947. In 1950, he comes up with the idea for the Alliance Graphique Internationale, during the meeting with exhibitors of an exhibition of their work in Basel, Switzerland along with two other French designers Jean Jacques Colin and Nathan, and two Swiss graphic designers, Fritz Buhler and Donald Brown. AGI is officially founded November 22, 1952 and Picart Le Doux will be its first president.

The glass version of the picture is shattered with an iron tool to be able to control the rupture. The artists glued the glass parts on top of the original picture, creating a blurred effect.
The artists explore even further the infinite possibilities of transformation by turning something as temporary as a fashion editorial, into something completely different and original; a unique piece of art.

Each piece is an invitation to look again, to uncover what lies beneath the visible. Guided by the premise that “nothing stays still,” he works from his personal archive, reinterpreting it, giving new life to what was once lived, and breaking the linear flow between past and present.

Colleges allow emotions to converge with the material, the juxtaposition of the past and present in an atmosphere of no time. She seeks baroque minimalism. The work is informed by romance, desire, disillusion, torment, ecstasy, dream, and myth. Her best works are erotic displays of mental confusion, particularly concerning relationships. She usually works in series to emphasize repetition and obsession
Combining Renaissance ideals and concepts with images taken from contemporary media, Natasha Zupan beautifully unites the old and the new in her collage work. Natasha combines the innovation of her elaborate technique with her charm for tradition and the inspiration of the great Masters. Her clear, bright brushstrokes and her play of light and shadow are both rhythmic and youthful. The female figures in her paintings have an undeniable Renaissance character at the time, but they are reborn in our understanding of contemporary aesthetics. Their classic faces become modern nymphs when combined with symbols of nature and beauty. Each figurative work harbors a unique and intricate personality. Powerfully expressive, they are at once pure, sensual, innocent and seductive.
