Modern High-Rise

We were hired by a family who was downsizing from a larger house located in the Belle Meade neighborhood in Nashville. By replacing all doors throughout the house with more decorative ones we were able to make a great aesthetic impact with very little effort. Those who are looking for clean, sophisticated and inspiring spaces will note that this is one of Jonathan’s signatures. Prior to this renovation, the kitchen was dark and limited. Savage selected Calacatta “S” Marble countertops with a waterfall edge and continued the look throughout the backsplash to convey a sleek and transitional feel. Cerused oak cabinets were chosen to bring a warm feeling to the space, which compliments the white and gray tones in the marble that surrounds them.

In the master bath, honed marble was selected for the floors and walls to provide a sense of warmth and texture to the space. A crisp white Victoria + Albert tub was selected to add an elegant, feminine touch and compliment the rich, natural hues.

A clear glass shower keeps the narrow room from feeling closed-in and offers an openness to the space. Rich, espresso cabinetry draws out the brown undertones in the marble flooring, and helps orchestrate this pleasing space.
