Village Townhouse

Architect Steven Harris did a beautiful job refreshing this 6,000-sf Greenwich Village residence—adding handsome steel French doors, a glass-enclosed penthouse, a stunning wine cellar and more. Building from this, my job was to create a comfortable, yet sophisticated, environment for the young family to live in. I used a warm, earthy palette of browns, beiges and creams and concentrated on custom furnishings swathed in luxuriously soft textures (velvet and chenille upholstery, silk rugs underfoot). We also helped them acquire artwork from some emerging artists.
