About the Item
Dietmar Gubsch is a sculptor and painter from Dresden (Germany) who has created numerous architectural and spatial works and is known for his abstract geometric works.
His work is characterized by spatial overlays with symbolic landscapes. The focus is on paintings with a fantastic and surreal world of spatial illusionistic concepts and a strictly constructive visual language. In this work we can recognize precisely these criteria and devices. The clearly structured, geometric work, interspersed with forms, immediately catches the eye. The interplay and tension between the complementary colours red and green underlines the straightforwardness of the red surface and the rather freely unfolded green. Fresh accents such as the sky blue bring a further contrast into the picture and, with the yellow and red, it shows the basis of colour theory, the primary colours.
The work is a great addition to any room. It radiates through its colours and represents the artist's approach and thinking.
