(33.02 x 24.13 cm), Frame Size: 20.5 x 17.5 inches, Description: A vivid scene of a forest path leading down to a crystal-blue lake by French Pointillist artist Lucien Neuquelman. This oil painting employs the technique first developed by Georges Seurat in the late 1800s and later made more popular by Paul Signac. Several small dots of different colors are placed directly beside one another and, at a distance, are blurred together by the eye to give the illusion of blended color. This oil painting is signed in the lower right and nicely framed in a carved gold-leaf frame.
