The Chandelier series for Ash portrays an inner mantra, that light is a fuel in which we all connect, the artist goes on to explain: "We all have a light inside of us and that light is how we connect in some realm; whether it be a mentor, a friend, a stranger, a nurse. It is this innate human connection that brings us together and for me, a chandelier represents the complexity and beauty of this and so the idea of providing this light for one another is what motivates me in this collection." Almonte is constantly developing her aesthetic, further breaking the barriers of how she applies paint onto the canvas by carefully manipulating her dried acrylic pallet. Cutting and reapplying the leftover paint onto new works of art, Almonte creates a refreshing and unique design that gives her work a new dimension and a more 3D-like feel. This piece is painted on thick gallery wrap canvas and is signed lower right and on verso, it comes with hanging wire on verso ready to be displayed.

Inspired by vibrance and an optimistic outlook on life, Ash Almonte is recognized for her distinct abstract expressionistic style. She is best known for her series of Chandeliers, Butterflies, and Fashion from the Seventh Avenue Design District. Almonte's award-winning works can be found in private and permanent collections around the world. She is motivated by change, compassion for others, and miraculous phenomena that can impact others for good.
Her flair and admiration for fashion and art have been a staple of her life since childhood. Working in mixed media and using a variety of techniques from collage to impasto, a repeated layering and application of paint, Mashian’s dynamic pieces range from smaller artworks that can be arranged together to large-scale paintings. Her large-paneled paintings have been exhibited nationally in Los Angeles, Miami, and other art enclaves and are included in private collections in the United States and abroad.
Her creativity extends into other forms as well. Haleh has included fashion design, digital art, and music into her repertoire of boundless expression. She is the Founder and Lead Designer for MASH City, her innovative men’s and womenswear collection. Originally from Iran, she is a longtime resident of Southern California with a Studio in Santa Monica where she lives with her husband and two children.
TREE SERIES - The Tree Series presents an intricate study of positive and negative space and the mystery of multitudes in minimalism.
