ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Floyd P. Stanley is an LA based photographer creating product shot photographs of mixed tapes. Stanley and a few of his friends created the different labels for mix tapes popular in the '80's and 90's. He outsourced the artwork on some of the tapes so they would each have a different feel and handwriting. Stanley then photographed the tapes as objects on a white background. They are great gifts if you know a friend's favorite Karaoke song. Our curators have also sold them in pairs as wedding gifts. His and her's favorite mix tapes are an adorable gift.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Unframed prints ship internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

ABOUT:
The beauty of Tina West’s latest show lies in the maturity and wonder of her still lives. For every photo, West stages her scene with unique treasures from her vast collection. Allowing them to speak to her, rather than the opposite, each object is chosen not because of an image West is trying to recreate from her mind, but because of each object’s sheer attraction.
The sharp subconscious connection West feels to her still life objects comes across strongly. This produces a magical end product that has both transformed and repurposed the photographed objects entirely. Though still lives are considered a classic image, West exemplifies a charming, experimental take that pushes the boundaries of the historical still life.
