About the Item
"As a part of my Empty Streets of New York City series, I wanted to include the Wall Street Bull which represents one of the core tenet of the financial might of the city during the Covid lockdown. I wanted to show how beautiful and serene the city is, a once in a lifetime event, in the most sensible way. I waited for the Blue Hour for this image to set the tone and mood, as well as ensuring the contrasts of the streets light against the building and the bull.
On an interesting sidenote, the man who represents the designer of the bull contacted me to get an image of this photo since he has never seen it photographed this way. "
Viet Chu is a world traveler for photographic assignments. He finds beauty in life’s special moments in time, capturing each with his unique photographic style.
