Czeslaw Tumielewicz
Czesław Tumielewicz was born in 1942 in Lida. In 1968, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Gdańsk University of Technology, before continuing his course at the Technical University in the same city and then he taught there from 1994 onwards. He completed his training at the Fine Arts Academy of Poznań in 1978. An exterior painter, Tumielewicz doesn't hesitate to take out his easel. He likes to be surrounded by moving nature and captures the variations of time quickly. Immensely inspired by his environment, he has a passion for mountains, especially sea but also architecture and individuals. Always cheerful, his acrylic paintings are mostly colorful but they are also in black and white sometimes. Tumielewicz defines his style as realism magic, he, therefore, portrays figurative art, but the scenes are sometimes unreal.
