7 volumes, complete. Six 8vo volumes (292 x 190 mm), and one 4to (Huitieme année, 1919, 310 x 245 mm). Publisher's pictorial paper board portfolios, patterned endpapers, housing loose leaves and plates, as issued. Comprising:
1. LEPAPE, GEORGE, illustrator. 1912. Number 271 of 300 copies on Japon, with 12 pochoir fashion plates, signed by Lepape and Corrard with initials to colophon. Minor wear to portfolio, lacking ties.
2. MARTIN, CHARLES, illustrator. 1913. Number 155 of 300 copies on Japon, with 12 pochoir fashion plates, signed by Martin to the colophon. Minor soiling to portfolio, chipping at joints, inner patterned paper portfolio with some chipping along joints, lacking ties.
3. BARBIER, GEORGE, illustrator. 3e Annee. 1914. Number 82 of 300 copies on Japon, with 12 pochoir fashion plates, signed by Barbier with his initials to colophon. Some minor staining to portfolio, lacking two patterned paper sheets (of four) inside portfolio, lacking ties.
4. LEPAPE, GEORGE, illustrator. Annees de Guerre, 1914-1919. Number 57 of 300 copies, with 12 pochoir fashion plates. Lower joint of portfolio split, lacking 3 of 4 internal folding patterned paper leaves, lacking ties.
5. MARTY, ANDRE, illustrator. Huitieme Annee, 1919. EDITION DE TETE, number 2 of 12 copies on "grand papier du Japon" from Shidzuoka, with 12 pochoir fashion plates, illustrated title page colored in pochoir, INSCRIBED by Marty to "Monsieur Tabourier," with an additional suite of plates, uncolored. Portfolio chipped at spine, rear panel detached, lacking 3 of 4 folding patterned paper flaps, lacking front tie.
6. BONFILS, ROBERT, illustrator. Neuvieme Annee, 1920. Number 172 of 271 copies on velin d'arches, with 12 pochoir fashion plates. Lower folding patterned paper leaf detached, lacking ties.
7. SIMEON, FERNAND, illustrator. Dixieme Annee, 1922. Number 45 of 271 copies on velin de cuve, with 12 woodcut fashion plates, colored in pochoir. Portdolio with light tanning, ties detached and laid-in.
A COMPLETE SET OF THE IMPORTANT PARISIAN FASHION JOURNAL, published in 7 issues over 10 years (a single issue covers the years 1914-1919 during the war). Each issue pairs an artist and a writer in the mode of an artist book devoted to modern fashion. Complete sets are rarely found.
