Romantic Woman is a colored lithograph on paper, realized in 1988 by the Yugoslav artist, Jovan Vulic (1951).
This contemporary artwork is hand-signed and numbered in pencil on the lower margin. Edition of 150 prints.
Representing with the freshness of the sketch and with a naif style a woman elegantly dressed carrying a bouquet of flowers, this original print is in very good conditions, except for a visible and big stain on the lower-left corner.
Jovan Vulic (1951 - Beji - Yugoslavia)
The Yugoslav artist, after graduating from the Belgrade Academy of Fine Arts, moved to Venice and Rome, where he studied with Montanarini, Gentilizi and Fazzini. Vulic is an artist of extreme rigorous sign-chromatic: his first works reveal the Slavic influence in features and colors, while the first Roman period has a new light in the landscapes where the detail almost borders on a natural naive vein. He works in Rome, where he resides, but his works are known in Europe and overseas.
