Burin, Monogram on plate at the centre lower. Outstanding Proof representing the myth of David winner on Goliath. In perfect condition, except a light sign of renovation left-higher, over the marginal line of impression. Very rare. Including passepartout, cm 60x 40. Marcantonio Raimondi (1480-1534), the most celebrated Italian engraver of the Renaissance, interprets one of the most popular Bible stories. An incredible and detailed burin illustrates the myth of the young shepherd boy defeated the giant with only a slingshot. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
