A beautiful Arcadian landscape after Johannes Glauber.
Amsterdam: 1721.
Etching on handmade laid paper with an intact fleur-de-lis watermark. 203 x 275 mm; 8 x 10 7/8 inches, trimmed at the platemark. Several expert repairs visible on verso, including a 1.5 x 1 inch archival paper patch at top center sheet edge, and several other expertly repaired small areas of skinning along lower quadrant sheet edges. One minor spot of light brown foxing in center left sheet area, verso. All issues are generally invisible on recto.
