Moschino
We’ve collaborated with fashion expert Doris Raymond, of L.A. vintage boutique The Way We Wore, to curate a collection of important Moschino clothing and accessories not just from her own archive but from other 1stdibs dealers as well. Discover original creations by Franco Moschino from the time he founded the fashion house, in 1983, up until his death from AIDS, in 1994, at the age of 44.
Included, too, are contemporary pieces produced by the legendary Italian label. Today, Moschino has experienced a renaissance under creative director Jeremy Scott, whose colorful clothing comments on commercialism in much the same way that his predecessor’s designs playfully provoked and challenged the fashion industry. The core appeal of this collection is the variety of themes on offer: ranging from surrealism to pop art, Popeye to Mickey Mouse, they're expressed through undeniably witty patterns and silhouettes.
